Breathing alarm system

December 30, 2008 hailey081227

We orderd a breathing alarmsystem today, ive been so worried about “SIDS” and “apné” attacks where the infant stops breathing and either gets braindamage or eventually dies, heres info about babysence 2.

Who needs BabySense?
BabySense can be used with all babies from birth to age 1 year to help parents become aware of any breathing problems while baby sleeps.

What does BabySense do?
BabySense monitors the breathing movements of the baby and sounds a loud alarm if the breathing becomes slow or stops.

Why Babysense?
Babysense was the first of the “new age” baby movement monitors. Developed and patented in Israel in 1992, BabySense has been on the international market since 1994, the most highly experienced baby monitor. All derivations which are available today on the market are a result of this breakthrough in development.
Babysense is the only home baby movement monitor to carry complete CE registration as a Medical Device. Our first commitment is to your baby’s safety, and we made the unit simple and safe to use at home while reliably used even in children’s hospital units world over.
Babysense II carries the same safety certifications, with a new attractive design, and sensor improvement.

Is it safe?
Breathing, movement or apnea monitors are NOT perfect. Babysense has a long record of use (since 1992) it is a registered baby safety device and most important it has a well proven record of reports from parents and hospitals worldwide. It has a very low rate of “false” alarms. And most important – as written in an interview with a Czech pediatrician of the Slovac SIDS Foundation, MUDr. M. Kuchta CSc:

“IT IS NOT TO BE IGNORED THAT ALL OF THE BABIES IN OUR PROGRAM [MONITORED BY BABYSENSE] ARE ALIVE.” (Diet’a 1:1998)
The device is non-invasive, omits no waves, electric current or side effects.

then we orderd the addon for the kit Babysense Co-Zee for maximum security

Assures total sleep protection for baby in parents’ bed.
Fits comfortably and safely between parents.
Gives both parents immediate access to baby, to comfort and soothe.
Allows mother to breastfeed (or father to bottle feed) without getting out of bed.
Eases baby’s adjustment from parents’ bed to crib.
Features an adjustable nightlight at the head to ease nighttime care, and a tray for holding a bottle and pacifier.
Optional Babysense V Infant Movement Monitor can be installed to detect baby’s movements associated with breathing.

Professor James j.McKenna’s studies have shown that Parents sleeping alongside their infants constituted a marvelously adaptive system in which both parents’ and infants’ sleep physiology and health were connected in beneficial ways. By sleeping next to its parents, the infant receives protection, warmth, emotional reassurance, and breast milk – in just the forms and quantities that nature intended.”

Both of these items are used in hospitals and have gone thru tough testing.

    Alexander,

No words can express how proud I am of the man you have become, and how passionately, sincerely and lovingly you have adjusted to being a father. Hailey is a very lucky little girl, to have parents as you and Emma. So young, yet so devoted and loving, to eachother and to Hailey. Love you all. Mom
